Photographing mothers to be is both an intimate and special occasion.  It is nine months that can feel as both long as an eternity, and fly by in the blink of an eye.  Pregnancy itself is miraculous; watching a mother tenderly rubbing her stomach with affection and love, and the father gazing at his wife with a new sense of awe.  Theirs is a special time, and nine months disappears so quickly.  It’s easy to forget the shape of the new life inside a mother’s body, the glow of her skin, the amazement of the parents as they begin their journey into parenthood, when two become three.
